Clinical picture

Those patients who have flat, flat or small buttocks and who are not satisfied with them, may be favored with the placement of gluteal prostheses.

What do I have to know about the intervention?

An incision of approximately 5 cm. It is performed in the intergluteal groove, which makes this scar not noticeable.
The prosthesis is placed between the muscular bundles of the gluteal muscle in the upper part of the buttock, since the sciatic nerve is located in the lower part and makes its placement impossible.

Post-operative care

Immediately after the procedure, you can sleep on your back, on your stomach and you can always sit on soft surfaces.

During the first week after treatment, antibiotics and analgesics will be indicated.
The stitches are removed after 7 days.
The approximate time to resume your activity is 4 days.

What should you consider before performing this intervention?
